Domain appraisal
A domain appraisal is an estimate of how valuable a domain name is. Automatic appraisals are rough guides at best, because real value depends on a buyer.
What Domain appraisal means in practice
Appraisals look at factors such as length, whether the name is a real word, the extension and comparable sales. The same name can be worth very different amounts to different buyers.
The Domain Appraisal tool here rates how strong a name is and who might want it. It deliberately gives no price, because a price needs sales data.
Why it matters
Treat any automatic number, including a score, as a starting point. Check recent sales of similar names or ask a broker before you pay a lot.
Try it
- Domain Appraisal A strength report and a seller pitch for a .com name. Strength, not a price.
- Domain Score Score any name from 0 to 100 and see exactly why: length, word demand, readability.
