Using the site
By using NameDaemon you agree to these terms. The free tools are provided as they are, for your own lawful use. Please do not use automated means to send us bulk requests, try to download or rebuild the list of registered names, resell our results, or use them to send unsolicited marketing. We may slow down or block traffic that does.
The results
Results are based on public data and on heuristics, and can be incomplete or out of date. They are not legal, financial or trademark advice, and a name being shown as available does not mean you may use it. Read what the tools can and cannot tell you and check with your registrar and, where it matters, a lawyer before you spend money. We are not responsible for names you register, buy or lose.
NameDaemon Pro
Pro is an optional paid subscription that sends you a daily alert when names matching your own keyword rules appear in, or leave, the .com zone, by email, Telegram and on the site. The price and the limits (the number of rules, names and AI notes) are shown on the Pro page before you pay, and the limits apply to each subscription. Alerts are produced once a day and we do not promise that a particular name will be caught or that you will be able to register it.
The subscription is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews until you cancel. We will tell you before a price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
Watching a name
Anyone can ask us to watch a single .com name and email them when it becomes available; one name at a time is free. Pro subscribers can watch more names, also get an email when a name is about to be released, and receive these alerts on Telegram if they have connected it. We check once a day and use public registry data, so an email is a head start and not a promise that the name will still be free, that its date is right, or that you can register it. A watch ends after 12 months or after the email, and you can stop it at any time with the link in every message. The Pro limits shown on the plans page apply to the number of names you can watch.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the billing page linked in your Pro settings. No further payment is taken, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is deleted until you ask us to.
Refunds
First payment: if Pro is not for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no questions asked.
Later payments: we do not refund a month that has already started, because you have already had the service for it. We will refund a payment taken by mistake, a payment for a subscription you cancelled before the renewal date, and any month in which the alerts largely failed to arrive because of a fault on our side.
How: write to us through the contact page from the email address on the subscription. Refunds go back to the original card through Stripe and usually appear within 5 to 10 days. If you live in a country where consumers have statutory rights to cancel or to a refund, those rights are not affected by this section.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the site and the alerts running but cannot promise they will be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or of a name, and our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; earlier versions stay in the page history, and subscribers are told of changes that matter. Questions about them go through the contact page.
