Domain blocklist
A domain blocklist is a list of domain names reported for spam, phishing or malware, used by mail and security systems to block or flag them.
What Domain blocklist means in practice
Well-known examples include Spamhaus, SURBL and URIBL. Mail servers check links and sender domains against them, and a listed domain can find its mail rejected.
A used domain that was once listed can carry a poor reputation even after the listing is removed, and a clean check does not prove a clean history.
Why it matters
Before you buy a used name, see whether it is listed and what it was used for. The Domain Audit checks both.
Try it

- Domain Health Check Expiry date, transfer lock, DNS, SPF and DMARC email security, and blocklists for a .com.

- Domain aftermarket The domain aftermarket is the resale market for names that are already registered: marketplaces, brokers, auctions and direct sales between owners.
- Typosquatting (lookalike domains) Typosquatting is registering a misspelling or lookalike of a well-known name, such as gooogle.com, to catch visitors who mistype or to imitate the brand.
- SPF record An SPF record is a DNS entry that lists the servers allowed to send email for a domain, so receivers can spot mail that is faked.
